POSSIBLE ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION
Center Street/Stone Street
10-12-04/3:25 PM
2004-14526
On 10-21-04 an 11-year old female student from Bennet Jr. High School walked home from school. At approximately 3:25 PM she was at the intersection of Center Street and Stone Street still on her way home. She began walking north on Stone Street on the east side sidewalk. The victim stopped for a moment to put something in her book bag. She heard a car turning onto Stone Street and when she turned around she observed a small red car turning right onto Stone Street from Center Street. The car pulled up to her and stopped. There was only one person in the car, a white female about 35-45 years old. The female operator of the vehicle rolled down the passenger window and started talking to the victim. She said something to the effect of “do you want to get in the car, I’ll bring you home.” The victim did not know the female driver and refused the ride and continued walking. The victim then heard the car driving behind her. She continued walking faster and after she crossed the intersection with St. Johns Street she turned around and the car was gone.
The driver had long straight bleached blond hair. She was about 35-45 years old. She was wearing a black shirt. The car was a newer sporty red car with four doors. There was a child seat in the back seat.
The above composite was made from the victim’s description.
