- Competitive Salary: $47,926.11 for Grade 1 Patrol Officer with annual incremental raises to $66,022.53 for Grade 6 Patrol Officer.
- Health Insurance: Full health insurance for the employee and dependents, including a dental plan.
- Life Insurance: Paid by Town in amount of $30,000 with the employee option to purchase an additional amount of $20,000.
- Retirement plan: 50% of annual salary (averaged over highest three years of service) with 25 years service.
- Paid sick leave: Officers are entitled to sick leave with pay of one and one-quarter days for each full month of employment.
- Paid vacation: After completing one year of service, an officer is entitled to 10 working days (two weeks) of vacation. Officers accumulate vacation time each year of service and can acquire up to 25 working days (five weeks) of vacation annually.
- Paid Holidays: Officers are entitled to thirteen (13) days of holiday time annually.
