Chief Marc Montminy


Chief Montminy was appointed on June 19th, 2009 after serving the Town of Manchester for 20 years. Chief Montminy started his career in Manchester as a patrol officer in 1989. His accomplishments include field training officer for new recruits and a state certified police instructor. In 1994 he was promoted to Sergeant and served in both the Patrol Division and the Administration Division. In 2000 he was promoted to Lieutenant and took command of the Records Department and ran the 911 Dispatch Center. In 2003, he was promoted to Captain and had responsibility for one of the department’s two divisions. In 2007 he became the first Deputy Chief of the department in 17 years. His responsibilities included overseeing both divisions.
